Appearance

Sarahi has long black hair that falls in soft waves and is often loosely tied back with ornaments and flowers. She has natural red-tipped ears, and red streaks in her hair. Her eyes are honey yellow, and she has tattoos on her arms, legs, and belly.When she isn't hunting or warding the forest with her sisters in her village, she often wears colorful silk saris and embroidered and gilded fabrics to go visit Radz-at-Han. It's rare to see her without a plethora of lovely jewelry, from pearl necklaces to gold bangles and earrings.

Mannerisms

Sarahi is a warm person who loves to tell stories and sing. She is very animated with her hands when she speaks. Despite her friendliness and welcoming of strangers and guests, she is an intensely private person when it comes to her personal matters.

History

Sarahi was born and raised in a village deep in Vanaspati Jungle in Thavnair. She is the fourth born of six in the Vaali family. While they worshiped the Manusya and Mrga, they encouraged religious, self, and world exploration, as well as diligence in their duties and responsibilities to the village. Growing up in a multiracial village that fostered a creative and nurturing environment, she was encouraged to find her own path in life and chose to remain with her village as one of its guardians.Since childhood, Sarahi had a love for animals, and cultivated a talent for mimicking animal sounds, especially bird calls. This, along with her talent for singing and playing instruments made her a very vivid storyteller in which she would tell immersive tales of the Mrga and Manusya.When she came of age, she chose to remain with her village as one of its defenders alongside her sisters, and would have likely remained there for the rest of her days, if not for the recent threats to their village brought on by the Final Days. After arduous battles, her reclusive village, along with the rest of the nation, has been recovering, rebuilding and even welcoming helpful travelers. These events also sparked curiosity in her to explore the world beyond the borders of Thavnair like some of her siblings have, and has decided to seek out songs and stories from other people around the star.Recently, she's been spotted at Radz-at-Han running errands, telling stories and singing in small gatherings throughout the city for fun, and has been enjoying meeting new people.

Hello! Thanks for stopping in! I'm Cy (21+/they/them). I'm relatively new to FFXIV.   • I distinctly separate IC and OOC. I encourage open and honest communication to avoid any misunderstandings. While Sarahi may/may not behave curtly or dour in some situations, I am not my character and am always down to pause and make sure we're still headed in the right direction.

  • I understand that some characters struggle with acceptance of certain things, I will not interact with characters or players who use slurs of any kind, or think it is okay to alienate others on account of their sexuality, gender identity, race, or abilities. Respect is very important to me.

  • There's a viera fanon tumblr going around whose contents are harmful, crude and racist representations of indigenous cultures, and I will not subscribe to that or acknowledge it as canon. Please be aware of that if you've chosen to use that in your personal canons that I do not want to interact.

  • Sarahi is an adult character with likewise antics. She may be foul mouthed, portray alcohol and drug usage, moderate violence, and deal with other NSFW themes at times. Because of this, I ask that those who roleplay with me be over 18 as well, please.
